The Organisation is made up of four (4) technical comities :
Promotion and Sales Co-ordinating Committee
The committee is in charge of directing commercial policies in the interest of member countries and to initiate promotion actions both on the national and international level in order to create an increase the world coffee intake.
Production Committee
This committee analyses policies of production in the world and proposes harmonised strategies of production to member countries. It collaborates closely with the coffee research.
Technical Committees
The organisation has 4 technical committees: - Advisory Committee: This structure is in charge of reflecting on African strategies that has to do with international coffee negotiation.
The Financial Committees
This committee determines the state of contribution of member countries prepares the IACO budget and follows up on the budget implementation. It is made up of five member countries: Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Congo (RDC), Uganda and Angola as an observer. |
