World coffee exports

World coffee exports amounted to 7.75 million bags in July 2009, compared with 8.21 million bags in July 2008. However, exports in the first 10 months of coffee year 2008/09 (Oct/08 to Jul/09) have increased by 2.6% to 82.31 million bags compared to 80.24 million bags in the same period in the last coffee year. In the twelve months ending July 2009, exports of Arabica totalled 62.88 million bags compared to 61.88 million bags last year; whereas Robusta exports amounted to 35.08 million bags compared to 33.41 million bags.
