Final Report Rapid appraisal of the financing landscape for the coffee sector in selected countries of Africa

This study was aimed at determining the financing needs of the coffee sector in Africa with respect to the “missing middle” and the last mile borrowers, the gap in financing for the two categories of the coffee value chain players and how the identified gaps could be bridged through financing leveraged from African Export–Import Bank (AFREXIMBANK) and within the framework of the African Coffee Facility of the Inter African Coffee Organisation (IACO).
